In the Hudson Valley, Manpower has an on-site program with a large computer manufacturer with 2 major sites in Dutchess County.  This relationship has been in place since 1991 with regards to administrative staffing support and since 1999 in the manufacturing area.

Some of the areas that we provide support include Secretarial, Adminsitrative, Purchasing, Manufacturing, Education, Help Desk support and Technical.  

The manufacturing area is 24x7 operation in which Substrates and Semi Conductors are produced.  The duties that our employees perform include,  but are not limited to, assembly, warehousing, inspection and machine operation.  Most of these are primarily in a clean room environment.  In specific areas Manpower has up to 50% of the total workforce on the manufacturing floor.

In the Administrative area Manpower employees are spread out in many areas across both sites.  Our largest emphasis is in the Secretarial/Administrative and the Purchasing areas.  In both areas we have many levels of expertise and skills which include Message Center Operators, Buyers, Video Conferencing Operators, Call Centers, Trafficing and much more.
