Manpower Professional, a division of Manpower, is the technical / professional staffing arm of our global organization. Manpower Professional's strategic direction surrounds the recruitment and placement of information technology, finance, professional, engineering, and scientific / clinical personnel on a contract, contract-to-hire, and direct placement basis. We also offer IT project management and outsourcing services for specific client needs. Since its inception in 1968, Manpower Professional has grown to become one of the world's top five professional staffing firms and currently has 250 worldwide offices with over 16,000 employees on assignment.
As a worldwide staffing company, Manpower Professional has acquired a wealth of knowledge that we are eager to share with our clients and employees to help them succeed. TechBase™ is Manpower's proprietary enterprise operating system, specifically designed to facilitate the staffing workflow. This system was designed and developed in the Professional division of Manpower. With more than 1,000,000 resumes in its national database, TechBase™ provides a fast and effective way to locate candidates who match a client's needs. TechBase™ functions assist the technical recruiter at virtually every step in fulfilling positions with the best talent in their respective industry. This tool provides Manpower's Account Management team effective contact management, correspondence management, time management, and storage and retrieval of client and contractor information. TechBase™ also allows us to keep profiles current so whenever skills are enhanced, whether it's with new experience or training, we can quickly update each profile.
LOCAL OFFICE INFORMATION
The eastern North Carolina operation of Manpower began as a single office in Raleigh, NC in 1965. Over the last four decades this operation has expanded to include one technical / professional and 11 commercial offices. The Raleigh complex of Manpower ranks as the third largest in the world behind Paris and London. Our operation has over 100 permanent associates dedicated to servicing our contractors and customers.
The Manpower Professional wing of the Raleigh operation was born in the late 1970s. Raleigh has grown this technical / professional staffing concept into what is now the model for Manpower Professional in North America. Our experience in providing Engineering, Information Technology, Scientific, Human Resources and Financial Staffing under one umbrella sets us apart from our industry peers. Our office in Raleigh provides customers and candidates full coverage from central to eastern North Carolina.
