Helen Lynch founded the local franchise in 1953, which was the first temporary service in town, and is still involved with guiding the company along its path of continued growth and success. Over the years, Helen along with her family and staff has helped to build customer loyalty through fair business practices, diligence, and a commitment to quality.

Helen handed the reins to her son, Mike Lynch, who is now the current President of the Franchise.  Mike and Eric Zingler, Manpower's Executive Vice President, are leading the Manpower Franchise into new horizons which include Professional and Executive Search.  Traditionally voted "Best of Des Moines" by the Readers of the Des Moines Business Record, Manpower is not comfortable with resting on its past.  Instead, the vision is to build on it and become The Workforce Solution for both clients and candidates.
